December is a relatively quiet month, allowing us to recover from the Mercury retrograde of last month, glad that is over.

There is an aura of peace that was in effect last month that continues through the first few days of this month, then returns for an exact focus 6 August 2007. It looks like established nations want to work with the radical nations to bring about stability. This will be effective if all involved put aside egos and work for the higher good of their people and the world. The indications reveal a need for cooperation and renovation, reorganization and transformation of the current world situations. Now there is the atmosphere is of desired peace with quiet negotiations but is only a possibility.

The planetary line-up is in Sagittarius, with the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Pluto all in Sagittarius until 11 December. Sagittarius is the sign of travel, abundance, religion and philosophy but is also the sign of taking risks without forethought and religious fanaticism. A line-up indicates much activity in those areas.

STRANGE SUNSPOT: A strange-looking sunspot is emerging on the sun. It's shaped like a ring almost three times wider than Earth. Amateur astronomers with solar telescopes are encouraged to monitor this curious apparition. It may be little more than a novelty--but its definitely worth watching.

ALIGNMENT OF PLANETS: Mark your calendar. On Dec. 8th through 11th, Jupiter, Mercury and Mars will form a tight triangle in the eastern sky at dawn. All three will fit together in the field of view of ordinary binoculars. (Mars is dim enough that binoculars may be required to see it.) Of special note is the morning of Dec. 10th when Jupiter and Mercury converge within 0.25 degrees of one another. The close, bright pair will be visible to the unaided eye--a fabulous sight in the rosy glow of sunrise.

For the United States Jupiter is active. He is now in his own sign of Sagittarius meaning he is operating at his best, bringing supposed abundance, blessings and grace. When he is in a stressful relationship with other planets, he brings excess, bluster and accidents from being too impulsive. Jupiter is also the patron planet of Republicans, so it seems they will be in the news.

1 December: mild day with the moon into Taurus at 20:25.

2 December: unexpected challenges traveling or dealing with authority figures who seem to be more impulsive than usual. The day is unsettled and you may experience interruptions to your plans. The moon is close to the earth today, perhaps drawing the tides and your emotions.

3 December: the interruptions continue through today, ending with a spirited discussion. Moon into Gemini at 22:05.

3 December with United States: challenges to flexibility with the President with possible bluster, the Republican party is busy behind the scenes trying to arrange their agenda and their could be disagreement.

4 December: full moon in the signs of Gemini and Sagittarius who could disagree with each other, drawing Virgo in to settle some facts and Pisces who only wishes to escape unpleasantness. Libra can diplomatically solve the situation, Aquarius goes off with friends. Aries can have a creative solution, with Leo providing stability. Cancer and Capricorn are somewhat neutral, Scorpio adjusts to sarcasm, Taurus is passive. Otherwise tense negotiations and control issues. For those of you in police and medical professions the areas of the body triggered by this full moon are the hands, arms, shoulders, lungs and nerves and the thighs, hips and weird blood test results. Do the blood tests again.

5 December: Mars into Sagittarius through 16 January. Now is the time for Sagittarius to begin new projects and travel. Gemini thinks you are being opposed, broaden your mind to see the others’ point of view. Leo and Aries experience creative solutions and romantic times. Libra has the opportunity for great vacation. Libra if you meet a new beau, it is temporary. Cancer and Taurus adjust to people showing up unexpectedly, enjoy. Scorpio and Capricorn are neutral. Virgo and Pisces may be irritated by people interrupting, now is the time to enjoy the seeming interruptions. Your Sagittarius friends popping could bring an expanded perspective and joy. Projects now expand sometimes too much.

5 December about midnight: Saturn goes retrograde at 25 Leo 04. If you have 24, 25 or 26 degrees planet or point in your chart, it will be set off. Especially the 24 degree point will be triggered by Saturn for the second time, so be prepared to either scale down or move forward carefully, depending upon the relationship Saturn has to your chart.

5 and 6 December with United States: change of course or mind that could be publicized, with subsequent arguments or disagreements. A subtle progression begins that his exact this time next year indicates a gradual harmonious situation with the work force, the public and allies. There is an opportunity to stabilize the government.

6 December: moon into Cancer at 01:01 and is grouchy all day.

7 December: good day for bargains in luxury goods and travel tickets. Your loved on appears calm and does make plans, but be prepared for an intense romantic evening. Good to redecorate a child’s room. Women could be unsettled and restless.

8 December: Mercury into Sagittarius through 27 December. Sagittarius can now successfully talk about your projects, with Gemini again thinking people are opposing you or arguing with you; they are trying to expand your mind or ask you to think about far-away places. Leo is shown how you can expand your creative projects with less control, it is the right time for Aries to begin new creative communication, Pisces enjoys interruptions as a form of escape, Virgo is irritated with seemingly frivolous ideas. Libra has the opportunity to help Sagittarius balance their words with consideration for others, Aquarius enjoys fast-paced conversations, Cancer adjusts to happy change of pace, Taurus adjusts to unexpected interruption in routine. Capricorn and Scorpio are neutral. Moon into Leo at 06:52.

8 December with United States: in effect all month exact today, an opportunity to balance trade, communications are good and technology should have a boost. An opportunity for positive change to let go of a changing situation that is unstable, which increases the money supply. The republicans change their public image.

9 December: travel plans will work out beautifully but you need to take the initiative, there is an opportunity for romantic or vacation day with friends, spiritual or philosophical activities good, a lot of talk about travel foreign relations and marketing. Worldwide an initiative for peace talks.

10 December: the talks of yesterday are expanded to a world-wide market or focus. Sagittarius especially is contacting many people with somewhat idealistic concepts which are well accepted. The only care is some may be exaggerating. Moon into Virgo at 16:31.

10 December with United States: in effect between 5 December and 14 December, exact today. An opportunity from behind the scenes comes to the United States to have our reputation honored and benefit the homeland, real estate and perhaps immigration. The Republicans also have the opportunity to shine their reputation.

11 December: the talk of yesterday and the day before are put into action. A lot of movement today, both automobiles and airplanes. Men are in haste. There could be a surprise military initiative. Venus into Capricorn through 3 January 2007. Bargains abound in big ticket items. Everybody’s love life is more quiet and private. If you meet someone new they may seem too quiet or conservative for you, but will be a steady true love. Contracts made now are honest and long lasting. Love life for Capricorn is better, if you make the first move to a stable relationship it should work out. Cancer may have a new love enter your life or a relationship that is not working leave your life. Libra and Aries could experience mild stress in your love life with the focus on money or job. Virgo and Taurus have good love life and money. Scorpio and Pisces have opportunities for stable love life and good financial conditions. Gemini adjusts to your lover being much more practical and stable than you like, Leo may chafe at your loved one insisting on entertaining within the budget. Scorpio and Aquarius are neutral.

12 December: quarter moon in the signs of Virgo and Sagittarius who could argue over money. The issue is conservative spending vs too much spent on travel. Pisces disappears, Gemini could be drawn into the nit-picking, please use your ability to see both sides of issues to help others do the same. An irritating day see-sawing back and forth between too much detail and not enough detail. Later in the day intense situation that needs to be let go because the issue is over-emotional.

13 December: moon into Libra at 05:00. Mildly good day with emotions and projects going well.

14 December: mildly good.

14 December with United States: adjustment of the war situation with both good and bad press, the President seems to be invisible. The quarter moon indicates a grouchy critical press.

15 December: the sudden challenges on 2 December resurface to be talked about and perhaps amended. There could be spirited discussions about theoretical concepts. Emotions are good today everybody gets along. Good day to smooth over hurt feelings and to contact friends. Moon into Scorpio at 17:42.

16 December: the spirited conversation yesterday works out today, the situation today is good for creative ideas to be planned or good to create a plan or structure for creativity. Calm pleasant day.

17 December:disappointments all day, people do not show up, some cancel, some don’t, sad feelings that should be fleeting, tomorrow is better.

18 December: moon into Sagittarius at 04:09. Those in authority are strong and put forth an expanded plan that could include overseas or foreign dealings. Could be a forceful day and could be a war movement. Sagittarius is especially favored today as long as you take others’ feelings into consideration while you surge forward.

18 December with United States: opposition from behind the scenes towards either technology or the work force. Glitches in technology, an oppositional press. Could be fire or earthquake.

19 December: good communication today, there is an opportunity to take the initiative to communicate idealistic concepts, an opportunity for positive change in your love and financial life if you will take the initiative. These opportunities require you make the contacts for anything to happen. Younger people are favored, or young fresh ideas. A most pleasant day with loved ones, siblings and friends.

20 December: new moon in the sign of Sagittarius, meaning great day for Sagittarius to start a project. The fire signs of Leo and Aries have a calmly good day, the air signs of Libra, Aquarius and Gemini have opportunities to expand your social life, Pisces enjoys interruptions, Virgo could be irritated by the distraction from work, Capricorn and Scorpio are neutral, Cancer and Taurus adjust to the clamor. 21 December: Sun into Capricorn at 19:21, the first day of winter in the northern hemisphere. The light begins to increase, thank goodness. At the time of this writing in November, summer flowers are blooming in my yard here in Delaware. If the weather continues to be warm, the increased light could bring roses for Christmas. Whatever was unexpected on 2 December returns with more force resulting in unforeseen change. Impulsive actions today, be careful of moving too quickly and making snap judgements because the desire for action overpowers common sense. There could be an earth change involving fire and water.

21 December with United States: change in public relations or relationship with an ally. There is a need for flexibility, but it will be accompanied with mild opposition. Republican party meets to line up or adjust their party priorities or philosophy.

22 December: adjusting to yesterday, then the moon into Aquarius at 16:48.

23 December: calm day with opportunities to put feelers out to talk about desired outcomes.

24 December: communication good and steady, situation is good for plans, family and travel. Emotions and ego should be optimistic so a good day to contact those you need to with good results. Moon into Pisces at 20:42.

24 December with United States: in effect between 19 and 28 December, Jupiter indicates the Soul’s Purpose of the United States would be relatively easy to express, which is to make decisions for the United States, not for the rest of the world. The money supply should increase balancing the budget somewhat. Accommodations regarding the war, opposition from foreign leaders ending with good news.

25 December:balanced emotions, a lot of activity, some focused maybe intense conversations. Later in the day unexpected visitors. Worldwide, fanatical talk of war or invasion.

25 December with United States: criticism of the President, he cannot do anything right today. Sudden change or opposition about labor unions or the labor force that comes to a head on 4 January 2007.

26 December: begins with feeling a little lonely because adjusting to the past few days, then feeling loss of control and possible arguments toward the end of the day.

26 December with United States: a surge in energy and activity which is an opportunity to stabilize the presidency and the money supply. The flip side of this is dangerous day with fire and firearms.

27 December: moon into Aries at 00:03 followed by the quarter moon in the signs of Aries and Capricorn. Challenging day of mini-crises that brings Cancer and Libra in. These signs enjoy challenges, so enjoy the day. The challenges involve work and plans with verbal jousting to push your buttons. Mercury into Capricorn through 15 January. Talk slows down and changes to career and family, planning and structure. Capricorn now has the communication reigns and insists on facts and the plan. Cancer could feel criticized, which is not meant. Aries and Libra are challenged by silence, Taurus and Virgo have quiet planning meetings, Scorpio and Pisces have the opportunity to benefit by working with financial plans and to put creative ideas into reality - with a plan. Gemini adjusts to being asked to think out a plan, Leo adjusts to having your expenses questioned. Sagittarius and Aquarius are neutral.

27 December with United States: the quarter moon sets off challenging situation with trade partners and possibly a public argument within the Republican party.

28 December: pleasantly good day.

29 December: another pleasant day to contact friends and plan New Year’s celebrations.

30 December: slight feelings of loneliness, perhaps your loved one is away or has to work. The day ends well, with that loved one joining you for an emotionally good evening.

31 December: year ends with an opportunity for ideal evening with friends. Travel is good, men are romantic. Men, take the opportunity to make the contact or ask for the date, you will be accepted.

31 December with United States: unsettled, mildly difficult day.

As the year progresses into 2007, the happenings of Christmas Day, 25 December are in the air, culminating 4 January. There is change which could be an earth change, an airplane accident or a breakthrough in technology. There could be a big change in the Republican party, with the radical ideas being discarded.
